If we say we want to reduce the time taken for set of tasks, there are many factors that come into picture,
In my opinion they can be categorized as below
- What is the right time to do the task?
- Will i need help from someone on any activity?
- Should i do these tasks in a particular order for maximum gain?
- Are there some activities which are actually not needed or can be taken later?
that you are peforming your activities in optimum manner.
Yes this i am talking about always doing your homework in advance. The more you know about a topic, your brain starts utilizing your knowledge and information, by co relating these it automatically starts recommending you the best possible way of doing an activity and which will, also give you best possible outcomes.
Always study details or discuss with other subject matter experts before proceeding with the activity.
3. Physical fitness:
Have you ever tried working when you were down with high fever ? I am sure you could not have given your best at that try. Physical fitness keeps your energy level always at high your brain is on top of things. If you are not physically fit, you simply can not be at your best. Time spent in keeping yourself fit, in turn saves a lot of time when you are in the field doing your work.Time spent in fitness is an investment, that gives you amazing returns.
4. Enthusiasm:
Enthusiasm comes in two ways, one comes automatically when you are doing a work which really excites you from inside. But do we always get a chance to do such work, some of us may be very lucky to get such a chance but, many of us always dont get work which excites us from inside.
Simple way to carry enthusiasm for such work is, Always spend time in your passions. It may be possible just on weekend, but make sure you do it. Watch less TV, do not sleep in day time ;) Trust me there is always a way to figure out time for passions.Spiritual fitness can be achived by connecting to God or by doing activities like Meditation, Our brain has tremendous potential which can be very easily realized by the fact that Einstein used around 10% of brain capabilities and did so much of amazing work. Practice of meditation and connecting your soul to God, is the way to open the flood gates of our brain's capabilities.
Spending few minutes a day on meditation and connecting with God, will make you a strong person from inside and you will start having amazing focus on work at hand and that will give you amazing results at work at productivity level
Who ever says we dont have time, I am telling you from my personal experience, is just making an excuse :)
More over, life is not just about running after things. We have to sit back and think first, What exactly is the right way of doing what we are doing.The woodCutter who sits back and sharpens his Axe regulary will be cutting more trees in comparison to the woodcutter who never sharpens the Axe and is busy just cutting the trees:)
